Youtube Favourites

A few years a go I used to be addicted to watching beauty and fashion videos on Youtube. Now do not get me wrong, I still watch and love many of these but have now found that I gravitate towards daily vlogs. There is just something about watching other peoples every day lifes that I find so interesting then again, maybe I am just nosy! Here are my 3 favourites right now:

Carah and her cute little family have to be my all time favourites to watch. She also has a beauty and fashion channel which is just as great! She lives in Portland and is married to Travis and also has two of the cutest little girls, they just seem like the perfect family. Definitely people that I would love to meet! It is funny because years ago I remember winning a competition on her beauty channel and being sent some makeup items but I was so young it wasn't not as exciting as it would be now!

I started watching Aprils beauty/fashion channel and when her and her husband Justin created their vlog channel, I knew that I had to subscribe. They are just the nicest couple with the biggest hearts which makes them seem like such great parents to little Liam. Subscribers have followed them though moves, exciting holidays and the birth of their son. I just never get bored of watching them!

Again I watched Sams other channel for years before discovering her vlogs. She seems like the sweetest, bubbly person! She also is married to Jay and has two very cute children. Sam and her family just recently moved and it has been so exciting to see them settling into their new life and just seeming so much happier. I do not know what else to write, all three of these families are so similar and are so much fun to watch. It almost feels like I know them which is so weird as I will most likely never even meet any of them!

Sleeveless Duster

Top - New Look
Duster - New Look
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - Schuh
Necklace - New Look

Duster jackets have to be one of my favourite fashion items right now... they are just the perfect spring/summer and even autumn attire. I love this idea of pairing one with an all black outfit so that the duster is the real focus. You can also purchase them for such low prices from places like New Look and Boohoo... I want one in every colour! I added my layered necklace to add a little something to the outfit as it definitely needed some sort of jewellery. Sorry that you can hardly see the chain in the photo, the black on black just did not pick up I am afraid but you get the jist. I cannot wait to feature more summery outfits on my blog, it just so happens right now that I have been working every day in which the sun has appeared!

Snake Print Slip-ons

Buy Them Here

When I ventured into Topshop the other day, these shoes immediately drew me in. Snake print has to be one of my favourite prints on everything from clothes to bags right now. I knew that I had to snatch these up and for only £20, they were decently priced. I also adore grey right now and the panels on the side of the shoes just fuel my love for them. Annoyingly I am between sizes - the 5 just fell off my foot but the 4 was slightly too tight! However I just went with the 4 in hopes that they will stretch a little. They are so comfortable to walk around in except they did rub my heel but that is definitely expected with new shoes. I teamed them with black ripped jeans, a white jumper and a pastel statement necklace. I cannot wait to wear these more!

Recently I have been a little uninspired by my blog.. its not that I do not enjoy it anymore, its just my content is getting a little tired. I definitely want to change it up but right now I have no idea how! However over the next few weeks I will be putting a lot of thought into it. What type of posts do you most enjoy reading? Suggestions will definitely help me out a lot!

Maxi Dress Wishlist

12345678

As I am going on holiday in August, like the usual girl I am already searching for holiday clothes. Maxi dresses seem so effortless and easy to throw on yet they look so lovely therefore I am definitely going to take a few with me. They are an easy way to add colour and pattern into your holiday wardrobe without feeling over the top. Also I just love that one item makes your whole outfit meaning there is no need to pack a top, bottoms and all that jazz. I cannot even pick a favourite from this lot, they are all just beautiful in their own way. Obviously being as short as I am, a belt is going to be necessary!

Printed Bargain

Just like my last outfit post, I had shot photos of this one a few weeks back but unfortunately they were deleted by accident. These photos were very improvised! Nevertheless I love this dress and had to share:
Dress: Missguided
Necklace: Topshop
Shoes: eBay

I noticed this dress a few months back on Missguided and although it was only £28 I just could not bring myself to buy it... and I am so happy I resisted! It ended up in the sale for £15 so really I just had to get it right? The colours in the floral print are gorgeous and would definitely work through all seasons whether its with tights or not. Another great feature of the dress is the fit, it nips in at the waist which is so flattering and makes me feel less conscious about my wobbly stomach. I styled it really simply with a gorgeous geometric necklace and my favourite shoes but it would look so perfect with a black floppy hat also!

I am so sad about the original photos being lost however above is one that survived therefore I wanted to include it to make me feel a little better about the situation. My sister took and edited the photo, it is a lot more edited than it would usually be for an outfit post as she was playing about but doesn't it look so cool? Almost like a drawing!

Favourite Nude Lip Combination

I am one who has never stuck to wearing the same lipstick every day.. until I discovered this combination. Pink was always my go to colour but I finally decided to change it up and go after a Kylie Jenner shade, the Maybelline Color Drama in Nude Perfection was recommend a lot and for £4.99 it was worth a try. I could go on and rave about this product for a long time, however if you would like to read how it performs I already have a post confessing my undying love. I am also giving away 3 Maybelline Color Dramas if you are interested, here is the link! I then research a perfect liner to match and this is a NYX Lip Pencil in Nude Beige, isn't it just beautiful? It glides on so perfectly and which makes it easier for me to cheat having bigger lips, it has to be done!

As you can see the lipstick and liner are gorgeous and can be worn on their own however I just love them combined! This is definitely my favourite shade of nude on my pale skin and I am beyond glad that I now know he combo!

Slogan Tee Wishlist

12345678

Slogan t-shirts (to me) are a staple for any girls wardrobes. They can be worn with literally everything whether that be jeans, trousers, a skirt or shorts. I have even worn one on a night out tucked into a tartan body con skirt - so comfy yet in my opinion still looked fab! Although many lovely colourful ones are on the market, I still find myself gravitating towards monochrome or grey as the classic colours just match everything. They also are a great way of getting across the mood that you are feeling which I think can be rather funny. My favourite of all of these has to be number 8 as it states 'weekends I love you' whichwishli is just too true. Well actually I do not often feel the effects of a weekend as I work in retail, oh the joys!

Deleted Photos and Typical Night Out

Top - Asos
Skirt - New Look
Kimono - Cameo Rose
Heels - New Look

This outfit was not actually going to make it into a post (hence why it is so grainy) however the photos I planned to use sadly got deleted from my sisters camera by accident. So please, ignore the crazy hair! I really do not know what was happening there. This is definitely my typical night out look - a fitted skirt, crop tee and a kimono to hide all of my insecurities! I got the skirt a few months back but hardly wear it therefore it was definitely time that it made an appearance. It sinches me in so much at the waist which is great. My crop tee and kimono are a pair and always make it out together, I really need to change it up a bit! Finally I always wear these heels out, they are just so comfy and almost never hurt my feet (except this night of course).
