Missguided Co-ord Wishlist

A trend that I have been loving for a while is co-ordinates and wow, Missguided are on top of their game! I am still yet to purchase a set but have to say the top left is on top of my wishlist, the culottes are just stunning. Also high on my wishlist are sets that include lace such a the top right and second right. They just looks so feminine and delicate. Co-ord sets seem perfect for summer and are such an easy, throw on outfit. The best part is that they can also be worn with other outfits too, for example you could wear bottoms from a set with a different top. I just need to get my hands on one!

Tropical Monochrome

Shirt - New Look
Jeans - Topshop
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - Dune

My mum handed me this shirt a few months a go however I never took to wearing it... until now. I just love how it is a subtle (ish) tropical print which is perfect for Spring. I added my Topshop Joni jeans as I pretty much live in them, the material is just so stretchy and comfy! A plain black pair are definitely on my list to purchase too. My shoes were actually bought last year and after a few months hibernating in my wardrobe over winter. they are back. The style just pretty much matches everything and they are a dream to wear for a long period of time. Finally my jacket is ancient and was bought from Primark by my sister then passed down to me. Leather jackets are great for spring/summer and they can really just edge up a look, in my opinion anyway.

These photos were taking my my sister Jen, if you want to see more from her feel free to check out her Instagram - molliesofia89

Tresemme Keratin Smooth

I am one who switches up my hair products every time I run out. Normally I just pick up what is on offer and that is exactly how I came to discover these gems! They were 2 for £6 in Asda and as I needed to give my hair extra love, they were immediately bought:

I only own the conditioner and heat protection spray but I will definitely be picking up the shampoo to match. I tend to go through conditioner so much quicker than shampoo, in fact I have already had two bottles of this conditioner yet I am still on the same bottle of Tresemme's Moisturiser shampoo that I was using way before I even started using this range. Keratin is not actually something that I have been intrigued by before however this stuff is amazing! My hair is left frizz free and amazingly soft. The conditioner is normally kept in my hair for around a minute and then I spray the heat protection on when it is still damp, my hair has honestly never been left softer. Next I am definitely going to try the intensive masque, if the normal conditioner give such great results then the mask must be out of this world!

I honestly do not know what else to say, if your hair needs some TLC definitely give this range a go. The conditioner retails for £4.99 and the spray £5.50 which really is nothing when comparing it to the luscious results! They are also always on offer too,

Effortless Smart/Casual

Dress - Asos Market Place
Blazer - New Look
Shoes - eBay

I don't know about you but I absolutely love outfits that you can just throw on yet still look put together. Comfort is key always. I find these outfits for me usually consist of a blazer of some sort as they can just make you look so smart. As the warmer weather is approaching, I finally decided to whip out this gorgeous floral dress that I got last year. The shape is perfect as there is lots of room to move however it is essential for me to belt it to add a bit of definition to my waist. Now the blazer is years and years old, my sister actually handed it down to me a few years ago.. never the less it is still in great condition and works with so many outfits. I threw on some black tights as it is still chilly here in Scotland and finally my trusty eBay shoes!

Hint of Pastel Handbags Wishlist

123456

Handbag heaven right? I am loving the trend that I am seeing of structured bags with hints of pastel. Although 1 does not feature pastel, it fits perfectly within this group! I just had to include it after seeing it in person in River Island, definitely love at first sight. My friend owns number 6 and when we met up I just could not keep my eyes off of her bag, the lilac looks so lovely with the snake skin and grey! Number 3 also features snake skin and is just gorgeous! I recon this has to be my favourite after the white one. Although it does have colour in it, it would still match so much do to the subtle, neutral tones. Ah I just love them all! I am in desperate need for a new handbag too, the one that I use right now must be 5+ years old!

Recent Sunglasses Purchases - Under £5

A few weeks ago (when the sun actually decided to make an appearance) I finally decided to retire my 3 year old sunglasses. As I feel like absolutely no styles suit me, I decided to order two really cheap pairs just to get an idea on the shape I should actually go for... however it turned out these ones are so great that I am not going to even bother ordering more expensive ones!

These beauties only cost me £5 from Boohoo, however they are no longer on the site even though it was only a couple of weeks ago that they were ordered. I recommend searching the site anyway as they have so many low priced, fashionable sunglasses. My previous pair were a tan colour and as I had them for so long, I wanted to go with something a little different. This pattern is just lovely however does not stand out too much which I like. I definitely recommend this pair if the site ever get them back in stock!

I bet that you will not even be able to guess how cheap these were... £1.99! with free delivery! They are from Hong Kong however only took a couple of weeks to arrive, which I do not mind when delivery is free. As mentioned above, I was only ordering sunglasses to try out different shapes therefore did not have high expectations for these but I was pleasantly surprised! The only downside is that they probably are not UV protected but I am willing to suffer for fashion, is that bad? I absolutely love this style and the colour of them, actually these have to be my favourite pair that I ordered. Highly recommend this seller!

Fringe Wishlist

12345678

The fringe trend that is circulating right now is SO fab! I definitely need to add a few pieces to my wardrobe, espeically something that consists of fringe and suede... love it! My all time favourite piece is the tan dress (4), although sadly the low cut front just would not suit me. I definitely need to purchase a fringed bag and this white one (3) would be absolutely perfect for spring/summer. The colour of the green shorts (2) is stunning too, could definitely see it working in summer and even winter with tights. To be honest, I just love it all!

Subtle Spring Purples Using Makeup Revolution

I do not know about you but when I think of spring makeup purple eyes and pink lips immediately come to mind. Isn't this Makeup Revolution palette in Romantic Smoked perfect for that? The look that I created ended up being very subtle in the way of purples, however this actually means I will be more likely to wear it. Here are the products I used:

1. First I applied the  shimmery slightly lilac shade all over my lid (5th from left)
2. I then added a true purple to my crease and blended it out (6th from left)
3. The khaki shade (8th from left) was then applied to my outer v. I just adore this shade when it is combined with purples, the love for khaki is not just in clothing in my case!
4. Finally I applied winged liner, black liner on my lower lid using shadow and mascara. Pink Plaid lipstick from Mac was also applied to my lips, definitely my go to pink lipstick right now.

This is definitely a look that I could just put on really quickly in the mornings, that's when I can actually be bothered to put eyeshadow on... If you would like a review on any of the other products that I used (If I have not already done one) then just let me know, would be more than happy to do one!

Suede Aline

Top - New Look
Skirt - New Look
Necklace - Topshop
Shoes - eBay

Ah I finally got a suede skirt, its soft! It was a bargain too at only £19.99, Originally I was torn between getting the grey or camel colour, however I resorted to camel as it has to be my favourite shade to wear right now. I think it could work in colder weather or even warm weather with no tights. Be warned though, the sizing is a bit funny on this particular skirt! I should have gone down a size but was too excited to wear it and took off the tags, therefore its a bit big for me and a little unflattering.

The top was also a bargain at £8.99 and I wear it so much! It goes every type of bottom from skirts to jeans. The sleeves are a savior for me as I hate to show my arms so I feel so comfortable wearing this. My shoes... I know they were in my last outfit post but I love them!

Printed Trouser Wishlist

12345678

Recently I have been seeing so many gorgeous printed trousers about, I need some in my life! This is my ultimate wishlist, highest on that being number 3. They just look so comfy yet so stylish. I am also loving number 5 as khaki has to be one of my favourite colours of clothing right now. The best thing about this style of trousers is that they can be worn to literally any occasion - with heels for a night out or sandals for the day time. Ah I need some!

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry

Recently I popped into Boots and unexpectedly left with two of Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry nail polishes... I was actually in awe at the gorgeous subdued pastel range! The shades I finally decided on after ages of deliberating are Lap of Honour and Eat My Dust, here is what I think:

Lap of Honour is a gorgeous mauvey lilac and Eat My Dust a beautiful powder blue making them the perfect spring/summer colours. The Speedy Dry polishes come with a larger brush than what is normally featured in Barry M paints and its great as it only takes a couple of swipes to cover the nail. The colour is opaque with just 2 coats which is so good for pastel shades like these! The formula itself does dry within a minute if you are sensible with how much you paint on, however I often put a really thick layer and have to wait ages for any polish to dry... I am just so impatient with building up colour! I actually ran out of top coat when applying this however it did last around 3 days without chipping, with top coat I bet it would be a lot more. Overall I definitely think these polishes are worth the £3.99 price tag and I am 100% buying more from the lovely collection!

Lookbook of a Three Year Old

I decided to do something a little different today and dedicate a post to my little stylista niece Mollie. Her wardrobe definitely gives mine a run for its money, as does her posing! She has owned a fedora, fringed boots, Dr Martens and Timberlands all before me, things that I have been lusting after for ages. Is it wrong to be jealous of a 3 year old? Along with such cute outfits she also has an amazing outgoing personality to match. In the future there will definitely be a few outfit posts on my blog using Mollies outfits... they are just to sweet not to show!

If you would like to see more photos of Mollie's or her little sister Sofia's outfits in the meantime, why not give my sister a follow on instagram? She posts the cutest photos and has amazing photography skills!
