Sandal Wishlist

12345678

Ah I am in sandal heaven right now. I usually stick to white or black ones but recently a few more colours have been throw into the mix such as these stunning suede pair (6). Highest on my wishlist have to be number 8, absolutely in love! They are only £25 too which is such a decent price. As you can probably tell, I am really in to chunky sandals! 5 and 7 are absolute dreams to me. I have also been loving sandals with laces (3) and have seen them around so much. The only thing stopping me getting a pair is that they are not as chunky as I am used to... I am sure that I'll get over that though!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

My name is Eilidh and I am too lazy to cleanse my face. I know its awful, there is even a cleanser in my shower however its just so much effort to use. I said it, lazy that is all I can say. My skin is seriously suffering from this though so when I saw Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water on offer in Asda it was a sign! Here is what I think about it:

Let me just say I am in love. This is not only because the cleanser is great at taking my makeup off but I can just sit it beside my mirror with some cotton pads as it does not need to be rinsed off, which makes it so much easier to find the energy to do it. I actually enjoy taking my makeup off using this product. The bottle is very large and only a small bit of water goes a long way meaning it will probably last a while which is amazing for £4.99! With just a few swipes of a cotton pad my makeup comes off, the only actually rubbing I have to do is a little bit on my eyes to really take off my mascara. It is so refreshing after as it leaves my skin feeling really clean.

I absolutely hate putting liquid products near my eyes but I took the leap with this and was surprised. No stinging at all! I also suffer from sensitive skin with some dry patches however using the water does not affect it at all and leaves my skin so soft. This definitely makes it an all round great product!

Boyfriend's Shirt

Shirt - Burtons
Dress - Primark
Shoes - eBay

I can almost guarantee that that every girl who has/has had a boyfriend has stolen a piece a clothing from them even if its just to sleep in, am I right? I used to wear this shirt all of the time when me and my boyfriend lived with each other last year but when we moved in with friends, I completely forgot about it. Just the other day he tried it on however it had been shrunk in the wash, great news for me! I always seem to be more attracted to mens shirts than womens for some reason... Other favourite look of mine that utilises this shirt is a simple white tee, the shirt worn open with joni jeans and roshes.

My dress is a classic tshirt dress that I bought from Primark last year, I hated it when I first got it but love it now! It is completely shapeless so a belt is a must for me. Finally I finished it off with a pair of my most favourite shoes. Does that wording even make sense? I bought them last year also but from eBay for only £24.99. They can still be bought now if you are interest! They are such great quality and are a dupe of a pair that were sold in Topshop, if you want to see here is my post on them. Might just have to get another pair in white..

Do you ever wear boys clothing, even if it is just to bed?

Floppy Hats and Fedoras Wishlist

1234567

I have never been a hat person but recently they are appealing to me so much! The image of chilling by the pool while on holiday in August (yet to be booked, fingers crossed) with a floppy hat is just sticking in my head. Right now my favourites have to be the grey one (3) and also tan (5)... maybe I should just get both? Do not think my bank account will agree though. I also think a plain black fedora such as number 4 would be perfect for any weather and would look great with so many outfits. Definitely turning hat crazy even though I am yet to buy one!

Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil

Sleek's brow kit has been my go to since discovering brow products however recently I decided that I needed a change. I am one of those who tend to stick to the same products yet always want to try new ones however, never actually venture out. Being the lazy person that I am, I ordered Soap and Glory's Archery brow pencil from Boots online. The shop 5 minutes down the road just seemed too far that day obviously! Here are my thoughts:

First of all the shade that I purchased is 'Blondshell' which I thought would be way too light, however with the only other shade option being 'Hot Chocolate' I knew it would be too dark. The lack of a colour range is really the only downside I have for this product. The pencil is so pigmented with makes applying it so quick and easy. This particular shade can actually be built up into a slighter dark colour if I press a little harder with the pencil which is great as my hair is currently in a 'cannot make up its mind' state while my blonde is growing out.

The brush is also great as if you go a little too heavy with the pencil, which I always do when I am half asleep doing my makeup in the morning, you just have to brush through your brows and straight away have a more natural look. Using my previous powder I more often than not ended up going over the top with bold brows but this pencil does not allow me too do this which is great.. No more looking at photos and immediately feeling regret. Finally the fact that the pencil is retractable is also a bonus as there is no need to sharpen which is easier for us lazy girls!

For £8 this is such a great product, I am definitely converted.

Monochrome

Dress - Boohoo
Kimono - Cameo Rose
Necklace - Primark
Shoes - Miss Pap

Pictured above is my lovely sisters and I on Jens (middle) birthday night out a few weeks ago. I decided that a new dress would have to be bought as I have worn all of mine before... does anyone else try to wear something new every night out? it is definitely a bad habit! I found this bodycon dress for only £10 which I though was amazing, it is such great quality! To be honest I was actually basing my outfit around my gorgeous white heels which were bought in the sale for only £5 a while back. I still cannot get over it. I teamed the dress with my kimono as I am a little self conscious to wear bodycon without one, this one sits so well though. A choker was bought to wear with this but I cannot actually decide if I love or hate them.. so I wore a silver necklace instead. I wanted to put on the choker later that night but realised I had forgot to put it into my bag, just my luck!

Bedroom Wishlist

123456789

In August I will moving into a new flat and have already decided on my colour scheme, such a planner. As I am moving in with my boyfriend pretty pastels will be pushed aside for grey and white with a hint of yellow. The idea of plain bedding with contrasting patterned pillows appeals to me so much, I particularly love the grey and white one (5). Fairy lights are a must too which makes these daisys perfect as they fit the colour scheme and are super cute! As usual I am hoping for white accessories. They just look so crisp and modern, thankfully they are a trend right now so there are many options available!

Last of the Fur

Top - New Look
Gillet - eBay
Treggings - TK Maxx
Boots - New Look
Necklace - New Look

I am currently sat typing this on my phone while I wait to go into work as I am stupid and had this post scheduled for today however it had no text, I need to sleep more! Also where has the sun gone? I feel this outfit is so suitable for today due to the dull, rainy weather we are faced with!

This shirt has to be one of my favourites as the colours are what I look for when it comes to tartan, plus the material is so light and just sits so well. The necklace is actually part of a set but I thought just the one looked perfect with this look as it is so dainty. I paired it with my bargain fur gillet that I got from eBay a while back. It's going to be so sad not getting to wear this through the summer but hey, I'm not complaining about nice weather (please come back). My usual treggings feature in this outfit however I have also been wearing my Topshop ripped Jonis a lot with this. Finally I wore my go to chunky boots which match pretty much everything, again I will miss them in summer!

Missguided Spring Wishlist

123456789

Hello spring! Up in Aberdeen we have finally been getting some nice sunny weather, I have most likely jinxed it now though. Anyway ditching the heavy knits and jackets for thinner and brighter clothes has made me so happy. However looking at my wardrobe I have realised that I own far more pieces for winter than spring/summer urging me to look on Missguided. I love all of these that are pictured (plus so much more) and have come to the conclusion; I'll just have to buy something next pay day, needs must! Although I am sure my bank account will not agree... We will see.

Are you looking forward to spring fashion?

Favourite Daytime Spring Lip Colours

I have so many lipsticks yet tend to stick to a select few, I am not the only one right? With Spring arriving, I've decided that its time to drop the dark berry lips and opt for lovely pinks and nudes. Here are my favourite daytime picks, with most being ones that I reach for year after year which shows that I truly love them!

1. MAC's Pink Plaid has to be one of my all time favourites from the brand. This could be down to the matte formula which I absolutely love as it lasts for so long. The shade is a gorgeous cool toned pink which in itself screams spring/summer. In one swipe it is such an opaque colour which I just think is amazing in a lipstick. However I wore this heaps through out the winter too, its just a great all round colour! The only down side is that it is a little bit drying but that is what I expect from a matte formula now... nothing a bit of exfoliating and applying lip balm cannot fix!

2. Next is a lipstick that I have purchased time and time again, this being MAC's Snob. This is the perfect 'barbie pink' in my opinion and has a slight lilac undertone although this is not coming off in the photos. The shade has a satin finish which dries quite matte but is not drying. Again this one goes perfect with so many makeup looks, I also think it compliments my pale skin rather well. I am talking really really pale...

3. This shade is slightly brighter for the daytime but still it can definitely be worn. MAC's Up the Amp is a stunning lavender pink which is an amplified creme and applies so smoothly. During the day I tend to apply this with a light hand and dab it with my finger to lighten it up a bit and for nights out just apply it as usual. I have never actually owned a lipstick similar to this shade before but I am so glad I bought this on a whim!

4.  Now I only bought my Maybelline Colour Drama in Nude Perfection a few months a go and I am in love! It really has not been off my lips recently, the product is so pigmented and lasts for hours. I actually bought it in my desperate attempt to get the Kylie Jenner lip colour and it definitely works for that, especially paired with NYX's liner in Nude Beige. I honestly recommend this combination so much if you are looking for the perfect nude combination!

Faux Fur and Camel

Top - Primark
Skirt - New Look
Fur Collar - Missguided
Boots - New Look

Come on spring, where is the nice weather? Although the sun has been out shining for many days, it is still so cold here in Aberdeen therefore I am not giving up on my much loved faux fur just yet! This gorgeous collar is only cost me around £12 which was a bargain, I cannot find it on the website anymore but there are so many similar. My camel skirt is a recent addition to my wardrobe, I love it however it is that annoying material which clings to your body which is not great when you have a food pouch like me! Never the less I still wear it as camel is a trend that I am currently loving! I paired it with a long sleeved crop top which was around £3 a while back from Primark, so amazing as it has become such a staple piece for me. Originally a high neck black top was bought to tuck into this skirt but as the material is not very forgiving, it does not work as you can see every line which is frustrating. Oh well, best not dwell on that!

How is the weather where you live?

Wednesday Wishlist

1234

1. I have not bought a new pair of sunglasses in 3 years and have been living with the same ones which I have fallen out of love with... however not knowing what shape suits me has put me off buying more! When browsing the River Island website I found these and gosh, how pretty are they? The pink and gold work perfectly together! For only £10 you really can not go wrong.

2. This skirt is perfect as it could be worn right now tights (this scottish weather better change soon) or even in summer with a crop top and sandals. I just love pieces that can transfer through seasons, makes them so worth the money!

3.Need I say much about this dress? it is so amazing! I am loving the 70s trend as suede is just amazing in my eyes. Teamed with fringe makes it so much better!

4. I have heard so much about the Flamingo Candle scent Pink Lemonade, really I can not think of a better scent for a candle! A purchase is definitely on the cards soon, I just hope it lives up to my expectations.
